Sept Smalls Post

Heather of Stitching Lotus is our host for the Smalls SAL.  I absolutely get a LOT done by belonging to this wonderful group.  It's really my excuse for stitching Christmas ornaments each and every month to be prepared for the coming Christmas holidays!!

I have stitched SB Harvest Fob for this month as one of my smalls.

Here is Fpxwood Crossings Rudolph from the Sled Heads chart.

This is Foxwood Crossings Penguin sled from Sledding Friends chart.

I have been stitching on many other things, but I will save those to share in another blog post .... like tomorrow!  LOL

That's all I have to share today.  Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!

Happy Stitching!

WIP Wednesday......

I thought I would take the time to upload a couple of pictures of my WIP that I'm stitching on right now.

The first is SB Pink Snowman that I had PLANNED on starting on Aug 1 with the Facebook SB Snowman SAL.  Well, life happened, and I didn't get a chance until the end of  Aug to get started on my Pink Snowman.  But at least I started it.  Actually the body was all stitched in, but I didn't like the way the top part of him was stitched.  So I ripped it out last night, and I'm restitching it back in today.

The other project is MBT 10 Commandments.  I am SOOOOO HAPPY to have the top 2 big motifs all stitched in, and now I'm working on the words inside.  There will be other smaller motifs that will have the red in them.  The blue is Gloriana Midnight Silk and the red is NPI 503.

That's all I have to show today.  Hopefully I can get some smalls finished this week!
Happy Stitching!

JN Frightmare House!!!!!!

YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!  (squealing loudly in my house)  WOOHOO!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!

If you have heard my squeals of delight when I get a new project, then you most likely heard that in your head right now!!!  All my close stitching friends know exactly what I'm talking about!

I had to call The Silver Needle to see why I had not gotten my JN Frightmare House kit as I saw last Friday and Saturday on Facebook JN Junkies that others kits were arriving.  Then it dawned on me that perhaps when I had ordered the kit back in July that was the credit card of mine that had been hacked by THIEVES on Aug 21 and went on a shopping spree until the credit card company called me to tell me of the charges.  THANKFULLY the credit card company called me to confirm some charges but they weren't mine so they cancelled that card and sent me a new one right away.

First thing Tues after I got the new card, I called The Silver Needle and sure enough, the card had been denied, and they had tried to call but the phone number on their file was an old one from AZ.  So I updated my phone # and credit card # with them and I now have the kit!!!!

Just look at my wonderful new Frightmare House chart, fabric for the house and the mouse (yes Kimberly....another mouse to add to my collection), my mummy needleslide, black pins and the wonderful Jelly Belly jellybeans that The Silver Needle puts in the packages!  Plus you see the black tissue paper that the chart is laying on that it came wrapped up in.  I always feel like it's Christmas when I get a package from certain needlework shops that ship that way.

Ooooooo I want to start it NOW but I know more likely it will be this weekend when it gets started!  Now off to pull the DMC to put with the chart!

HAPPY STITCHING!

September TUSAL report.....

Sharon of It's Daffycat is our hostest of our TUSAL SAL.  You can click on her picture above or her blog link to find out more about this.

I had been working on a JN sampler that I will show you here in the next few days.  So that is where a lot of my ORTs came from along with the small ornaments I've been stitching as well.

Here are all my ORTs in my small tin before I dump them in the big jar.  I do keep a small ORT catcher on my lapboard when I stitch but then I put them in my small tin to hold until I blog about it.

I think it's a pretty nice collection since I last posted my ORTs.  Now back to my regularly scheduled stitching today before I make a new recipe for dinner which will be Fiesta Beef & Black Been Enchilada!  I hope it turns out good.  It looked easy enough.  LOL

Happy Stitching!
